About Rob Dubin
Rob Dubin’s captivating stories inspire — and his practical strategies empower — making him an unparalleled guide to building resilience, adaptability, and purpose-driven success.
A seasoned adventurer, resilience expert, and international keynote speaker, Rob Dubin’s life reads like a best-selling thriller. From filming world-class climbers in the Himalayas to sailing the world’s oceans for 17 years, Rob has lived what most people only dream about.
But what makes Rob’s story truly powerful isn’t the adventure — it’s what he learned from it.
By all accounts, Rob is a pretty average guy: 5′7″, glasses, slightly overweight, and bald since age five from an autoimmune disease. Yet through the lens of his documentary camera, he studied how extraordinary people think, act, and succeed.
He filmed Olympic athletes, Fortune 500 CEOs, great thinkers, and even U.S. Presidents.
By observing their behaviors and capturing their stories, he discovered the shared habits of resilience, optimism, and adaptability that drive world-class performance.
Then, Rob applied those lessons to his own life — and the results were extraordinary.
He built several million-dollar businesses, set aviation records, climbed the world’s tallest peaks, and even established a scholarship fund that has sent 29 students to college.
Through all of it, he’s lived by one belief:
Resilience isn’t about being tough — it’s about being adaptable, optimistic, and purpose-driven when life changes around you.
Today, Rob teaches those same principles to leaders and teams worldwide, helping them navigate change, prevent burnout, and lead with confidence, empathy, and clarity.

Through my filmmaking career, I’ve been privileged to meet and learn from some of the world’s most extraordinary people — Buckminster Fuller, Jimmy Carter, Tony Robbins, Ted Turner, and even a congratulatory call from President Bill Clinton after surviving a blizzard that nearly took my life.
My adventures have taken me from climbing Denali, North America’s highest peak, to sailing around the world, to kayaking unexplored rivers in Mexico and Nepal. I’ve flown an experimental aircraft to all 48 contiguous states, driven 9,000 miles through the African bush, swum with hammerhead sharks, and been honored at tribal feasts in remote villages.
Every one of those experiences taught me the same truth:
Resilience, optimism, and purpose are the real measures of success.
Today, through my keynotes and workshops, I share that blueprint — helping leaders and organizations build the adaptability and optimism needed to thrive in uncertain times.
My mission is simple:
To help people cultivate resilience, rediscover genuine happiness, and achieve extraordinary success — no matter how average they think they are.
